I was looking for ways to update my outdated family room. We purchased d our home five years ago and really didn’t make any changes until now. I wanted the room to be very cozy and warm and I also wanted incorporate a fireplace in the room if possible. We stated our re model by taking down all the old wood paneling and added sheet rock walls and painted them nice earthy oatmeal brown. Next we took up the old musty carpet and put down dark solid wood floors. We were able to install the flooring ourselves after watching videos online and it came out great. Finally purchased new leather sofas and arm chair to finish off the room. I purchased a couple of decorative accents and some new window treatments that added so much to the room. Our family room was complete but still missing one element the fireplace. My husband surprised me by install a wood burning stoves in the middle of the room that added the coziness that I had always dreamed of. My husband was able to install the wood burning stoves fireplace with a friend and it didn’t require a major renovation to do so. It looks like the real thing and burns wood. I can’t wait until the cold season gets here so I con cuddle up in a blanket and enjoy my new fireplace. I’m hoping that he will install a fireplace in our bedroom real soon I’ve always thought that would be romantic element to have. My friends and family all love our new fire place and they think it cost us a fortune to have it installed but it didn’t. It was very affordable option to having a fireplace installed by the professionals but we still get the same effect and feel for more than half the price.

There are still some good deals out there. Recently for instance, Asda has been selling its wines extremely cheap to make way for a new range of wines they want to start selling soon. The goal was to keep it from slipping away needlessly. Coupons are a great way to save on the stuff we already buy to eat. I also use them on household and personal hygiene products. Unlike my mother, I only use coupons for things we already use or would like to try. My mother buys quantities of things she is not even interested in. It is just a game with her to see if she can get something really cheap or free. My goal is to save money and not spend it. I want a bigger rainy day fund and a much bigger retirement fund. Everything took a hit in this new economy. My scheduled retirement date got advanced ahead by another five years just because of the economic downturn. I don’t mind using a coupon now for everything we need to buy.

What an amazing cleaning machine the eureka vac is! I am ecstatic by the sheer power and performance of this beautiful machine that became mine around five years ago. I have only good things to say about the eureka; according to my opinion the machine has only negative point which is the looks. It may not score in beauty but it scores in everything else. The cleaning power of this vac is out of this world for its size; the flexibility in cleaning various types of areas than need ease of use and flexibility also adds to the strong points. The vac is durable and I can prove it; I have it so many years and it still works perfectly well – and we are talking for hundreds of hours of cleaning the house and the car.
