World Cup Fever

The history of World Cup begins from 1975 when the 1st world cup took place in England. Cricket World Cup 2011 is also a great moment in the history of India. 8 teams participated in first world cup. West Indies won the first world cup. The final match played between Australia and West Indies in which West Indies won by eighteen runs. After that, 2nd world cup took place between England and West Indies. England lost the match by ninety two runs. The list of world cup includes a total of 5 winners over the past thirty six years. The wonderful success was India defeating the strong West Indies team in year 1983 and go on to get the world cup. This was the first time when India got its first cup. Now in 2011, this is the second time when India got this great honor. Keep it up India.
