Escaping from the Rainy Weather

The weather has been so bad where I live for the past year. It was rainy and gray all winter long. We had only a tiny bit of snow to make us feel better. Then we were back to rain again. The spring was long and rainy – which is normal for us. Our summer weather doesn’t start until the first week of July. We never go camping until the second week of July. And then usually the weather stays sunny and rain free until almost mid-October. But this year was exceptionally bad. Even the time of the year that is usually hot and dry – it rained. We didn’t have any ripe tomatoes until mid-September. And now it is back to raining again. We have got to take a warm and sunny vacation in January or the entire family is going to rust. A Family Wedding

I have never been to Wales but I was looking forward to going there this autumn. My cousin was getting married and was having a small reception at one of the castles there. I wasn’t about to miss something like that as I have never been in one before. I knew it wasn’t a main castle but it was still pretty exciting to me. Since I offered to help with some of the preparations with the wedding, I decided to just take my holiday for a couple of weeks around that time. I looked at cottages in Wales and found the perfect one that was not too far away. I decided to invite a couple of my cousins to stay there with me and it turned out to be a family reunion of sorts. This came about unexpectedly which made it all the more nicer that we could pull it off.
